What’s on in Bonn?
There will be lots and lots of music in our city this weekend! But for those of you who are looking for other events, apart from our Beethoven Festival (and apart from our giant fun fair Pützchen’s Markt at Beuel, of course!), we have some more suggestions on what to do and where to go:
Still on: the Jazz Tube Festival with three concerts on Friday starting at 5 pm
Learn more: https://jazz-tube-bonn.de/
Also on Friday night: another English tour of the city with the Night Watchman
For details, see: http://www.bonn.de/tourismus_kultur_sport_freizeit/veranstaltungskalender/detail/?vid=36539
And another option for Friday night: Jürgen Dietz Bigband will perform at Trinitatiskirche, Bonn-Endenich, Brahmsstraße 14, starting at 8 pm. Entrance is free.
Saturday, 9 Sep: Dottendorf JAM Vol. III, a gathering and competition for dirt bikers
Venue: Dirt Bike Park, F.A. Schmidtweg, Bonn
Another dance highlight will be coming up on Saturday night at Bonn’s Opera House. Ballett im Revier Gelsenkirchen will perform together with Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and dance to some of Beethoven’s famous works.
Sunday, 10 Sep, will be Open Monuments Day. Lots of sites and monuments will open their doors on that day and are well worth a visit. For details on open monuments in Bonn, see: (pdf)
Foreign-language movies will again be on in most of our movie theaters this week. For details, please visit:
