Fire Service Day
The fire department will showcase its work and provide lots of information on how to prevent a fire and on what to do in case of emergency. There will be a colorful program for young and old.

Open Doors Days
Many secondary schools in Bonn will open their doors so that the 4th graders may take a closer look around and obtain all kinds of information before moving on to 5th grade. Please check online for the respective offers and times.

Featuring children’s items such as toys, bicycles, books, clothing
Proceeds will go to local charity work.

Auction for Lost Property on Tuesday, 10 October
Lost property is sold at the City Hall on a regular basis. Starting at 8:30 am, there will be an aucion for bikes, electric devices, clothing, jewelry, wallets and more.
The bikes may be looked at as of 8am.
Note: cash payment only.
Next auction at the City Hall will be in three months.

The 6th International Bonn Dance Solo Festival is still on until 14 October. Still enough time to get a ticket for a special dance performance over the coming days.

Please note: On 7 October between 12 noon and 12:30 pm, there will be a test alarm in Bonn and in the surrounding towns. The early warning app NINA will be tested as well.

What to do in case of emergency:
- Turn on your radio and stay tuned to Radio Bonn/Rhein Sieg or WDR 2
- Move to an enclosed space
- Keep windows and doors shut and turn off air conditioning
- Inform your neighbors
- Listen for loudspeaker announcements by the fire department or the police
- Do not use the telephone, unless absolutely necessary
- Use the emergency numbers 110 and 112 only in case of emergency


Save the date: we will celebrate United Nations Day on 14 October! This year’s festival will again take place on Market Square in the city center with a colorful program for young and old.
