New Exhibition: Examples to follow!
This traveling exhibition has been shown around the globe and can be visited in Bonn between 19 April and 10 June. The focus in on aesthetics and sustainability, with a special emphasis on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals as laid down by the United Nations in their Agenda 2030.
‘Examples to follow’ has been recognized as the Best International Exhibition 2017 on Sustainability. The traveling exhibition is an official contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation Bonn, the European Week for Sustainable Development and the German Action Days for Sustainability 2018. It has been organized in Bonn in cooperation with Engagement Global, the German Development Institute and SDSN Germany.
The exhibition shows works from international artists and is expanded and developed as it travels around the world.
Admission is free!
Opening hours: Wed through Fri: 4 pm to 8 pm; Sat and Sun: 11 am to 5 pm
Venue: Building of the former Adult Education Center in Bonn at Kasernenstraße 50
Official opening of the exhibition is on Wednesday, 18 April, at 6 pm
To show how difficult it is to recover once sealed surfaces, visitors will have the opportunity on the opening day, equipped with hammer and chisel and under the expert guidance of visual artist Folke Köbberling, to collectively reclaim land.
