What’s on in Bonn?

Long Church Night
Christian congregations of all denominations invite to a Long Church Night in all city districts. The night is entitled: ‘Be amazed and dream’. All offers are free of charge.

English Guided City Tour: The Night Watchman
Travel with the night watchman through Bonn. A walk through the darker, wilder sides of the city.

8 to 10 June
Balloon Festival at Rheinaue Park
30 hot-air balloons will attend the tenth edition of this beautiful festival in the park. A highlight is the ‘glowing of balloons’ on Saturday night. There will again be a family program in the park on all days.

Armed Forces Day
The Federal Armed Forces present their work in the city center. There will be presentations by the Medical Services, live music and lots of information around the various deployments or on a professional career in the Armed Forces.

University of Bonn Summer Festival
The University is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. A highlight will be this year’s Summer Festival on Poppelsdorf Campus. There will be scientific experiments and join-in activities for the entire family, music and dance as well as lectures.
