SDG 16 - Sustainability and peace – a disparate relationship?
Invitation to the next SDG presentation as part of the ARTS seminar lectures on 12 June
Lecturer: Dr. Corinna Hauswedell, Research Associate BICC
Content: With the adoption of the UN Agenda 2030 the SDG 16 (for peace, justice and strong institutions) proved the most contentious issue.
This presentation aims to discuss the questions: What is the productive link between sustainability and peace agendas? How can cooperative handling of diverging (and common) interests in the area of climate and environmental protection contribute to a fairer world economic order, and by that promote a more reflective approach to violent conflicts and their causes?
Venue: University of Bonn, Institut für Geodäsie und Geoinformation, Nussallee 1, Room: HS I
Date / Time: Thursday 14 June, 5 - 6:15 pm
