Showcasing the results of the 20th edition of the international competition with participating photographers from 39 countries and a total of 18,000 pictures that were handed in.

The 23rd annual fall Martini Market at Bonn’s neighboring city of Bad Honnef is taking place in the city center from Oct 24 to 28. Opening hours are 12 noon to 9 pm, Wed through Sat, and 12 noon to 7 pm on Sunday. Stores will be open on Sunday afternoon.

St. Martin’s Parades in all city districts
More than 1600 years ago a Roman soldier shared his coat with a beggar on a cold winter’s day, saving him from death. Saint Martin’s deed stands for mercy and charity to this day and is remembered with more than 50 children’s parades all over town around 11 November.
