Coming up soon: Christmas concert of the International Deutsche Welle Choir
On Sunday, 9 December, the International Deutsche Welle Choir will perform its annual Christmas concert in Bonn. You are cordially invited to come and enjoy a world-wide repertoire of Christmas songs.
This year the Deutsche Welle Choir celebrates its 25th Anniversary. It did so with a jubilee concert on September 26 at its "home", the Deutsche Welle. Moreover a film was presented, showing the choir during its concerts and trips since 1993, singing songs from all over the world - in their original languages - and choir members dressed in local or national clothing.
Today, the choir consists of almost 50 singers coming from about 20 countries. Half the people are (former) Deutsche Welle staff, the other half are singers from other international organizations in Bonn and surroundings.
