Use and conservation of the wild coffee forests in Ethiopia

Content: The Ethiopian moist montane forests are renowned for their high species diversity, including the endemic Coffea arabica L., and for high levels of threat from human land-use pressure. This talk will highlight the effects of coffee management on the forest vegetation and discuss options for reconciling conservation goals and local livelihood needs.
